Another incredible display of the Jeep “Brotherhood” today (December 10th, 2017) as dozens of Jeep owners from a variety of clubs all came together to support the Calgary Jeepers for Vets annual Food Bank drive.
It was just after 9am when I pulled into the Military Museums and already numerous Jeepers were in attendance.
Steadily the attendees grew. All bringing food donations to be later dropped off at the Veterans Food Bank in Calgary.
Of course you can’t have a Jeep meet without a few “adventure puppies” out and about as well!
After some socializing, the group departed in typical Jeep convoy fashioned and made our way through a small section of town over to the Veterans Food Bank location to drop off the collected goods.
All in all, we filled about 8 large containers. Jeep brotherhood hard at work. It was a great day and a great turn out for the collection of food for those Canadian Veterans in need.
Be sure to jump over to the Jeepers for Vets page for more information on this event and learn how to take part next year if you’re in the area. Maybe it will even inspire you to set an event like this up in your own community!
