February 5th, 2015 a bit of a snow storm hits Edmonton Alberta, and of course, people are on the roads that have no idea how their vehicles perform in these adverse conditions.
Alberta drivers constantly disgust me, although I’m sure I would have seen the stupidity elsewhere too. The big thing in this storm were the fools with bad tires on FWD and even RWD only vehicles deciding they should take routes with steep, snow-covered slippery hills. Of course, there are the usual Alberta crazies that think double the speed limit is quite acceptable even in poor conditions.
In a way, I feel bad for going into 4HI, climbing the curb and driving up the boulevard – but if I didn’t, I’d be a sitting duck in what was equivalent to a pinball game with vehicles sliding around and back down the hill around me.
I’m sure none of my readers fall into the bad drivers category, but learn your vehicle – learn what conditions your tires loose grip on and when you should be driving or leaving the car, truck or minivan parked.
And stop speeding through construction zones!
Yes the bad drivers are everywhere. Some people just don’t want to learn. Then there’s a accident.
